They think they are scaring us but the fascist aggression and ICE terrorism is suicide for the dictatorship.
Zelenskyy had the cards, not Trump.
And We The People in America have the cards, not the violent fascists who think they can crush us. In fact, they are guaranteeing their own complete and utter defeat.
This is history, the history we’ve never been told, and the history we have been trained to ignore or disbelieve. We are about to quickly learn what we should have known all along.
We The People are sovereign — not plutocrats, fascists or their terrorist enforcers — and WE have all the power.
What does this mean?
It means that the cruel power-mad fascist regime in Washington, D.C. has overreached. This is what tyrants do. They live in bubbles of unreality, surrounded by sycophants, with an elevated sense of themselves and their capabilities.
Donald Trump doesn’t realize he’s just an old stupid weak near octogenarian with no abilities whatsoever. Too many of us have also been hypnotized by THE BIG LIE.
Yes, he has enormous resources available to him. He has money and guns and various agencies that he can and does use as terrorist organizations to enforce his will. He’s got the military, ATF, federal marshals, cooperative police departments, and — of course — ICE. He even seizes control over state militias — as he has done in Los Angeles now, sending in the state National Guard to abuse the good people of that noble city.
But he has a fatal weakness. One that destroyed dictators and thugs throughout history in a pattern that has accelerated in recent decades.
The people refuse to cooperate. They resist in the most devastating way. They use nonviolent noncooperation.
Sounds Harmless, But Reveals Where The Power Really Is
No Pharaoh ever built a pyramid. Elon Musk doesn’t design rockets or cars. Donald Trump never built a skyscraper.
Other people, people with skills and ability and intelligence design and build pyramids and rockets and cars and skyscrapers.
Trump does not overpower peaceful protesters. He’s nearly eighty. He’s out of shape. His best chance of overpowering a younger person is to sit on them. But the reality is, he can’t do anything at all except issue orders.
That’s it.
This leaves him vulnerable in the same way Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak was vulnerable, Romania’s Nicolae Ceaușescu was, Serbia’s Slobodan Milošević was, The Philippines’ Ferdinand Marcos was.
The People deposed all of those “strongmen” by refusing to take their orders. And each time it happened, the ending was quick, sudden and — for many — startling.
The fall of plutocracy and fascism will be as surprising to many as the fall of communism and the old Soviet Union. But it not only will happen, it’s starting now.
You and I Are Controlling Events
It’s a founding American idea that all just power comes from the consent of the people.
This seems like an abstract principle and it’s one that, because civics hasn’t been taught in schools for decades, is unfamiliar to most Americans today.
But as we see our neighbors and friends — at this time mostly immigrants — brutalized, kidnapped and deported to torture camps — millions of us are standing up and showing the world that the fascists are operating without our consent.
Now, if you get your information sanitized by news and most social media, you are seeing a focus on the “important” people and institutions. Most of this probably isn’t propaganda and lies. Many people, especially those in elevated positions, believe that these “important people” (like Musk and Trump and Hegseth, and the SCOTUS and Congress) and the rules are what controls events.
But formal authority and even great wealth are overrated — and it is largely the belief in the omnipotence of titled people and rich ones that accounts for their power.
The only thing that really matters is if people carry out the orders of the fascists, or if we refuse to do so.
Millions are choosing to say “no” and learning what, in practice, nonviolent noncooperation means. People are in the streets protecting people who ICE terrorists are trying to arrest and brutalize.
They are demanding that the cowardly armed mercenaries remove their masks, and that warrants are presented. They take photos and videos and post them, exposing the terrorists and their crimes to the entire world.
This exposure inspires good people who were on the sidelines to join protests.
This administration, as dictators throughout history have done, seem poised to increase their violence in response to popular resistance. Historically, these kind of attempts to suppress rebellion have the exact opposite effect.
Now, dictators sometimes have a temporary victory through violence. For example, Poland’s communist dictator crushed the Solidarity movement…for a time. But the rebellion roared back, ousted Jaruzelski, and The People took power.
Violence and brutality are used by totalitarians because it’s the only thing they are capable of doing. They can’t create anything. They can’t do anything constructive. They can only destroy. And they can’t even do that. They can ORDER us to destroy.
Refusing the orders of tyrants is the end of the tyrant. WE are his power; he has nothing else. His top henchmen, like himself, do nothing and have no abilities whatsoever. They are people who spread lies and bribes to encourage US to obey the desires of our own oppressor.
People are normally amicable and busy living their own lives. But the stupid brutality of dictators disrupts all that. The thugs create their own opposition and keep recruiting more opponents until the are deposed by the resistant that they themselves have sparked.
Why Nonviolence?
Now, we are seeing video of rock throwing demonstrators and some spray painted graffiti. These rare and atypical behaviors are publicized with the intent to brand the gigantic peaceful protests and riots. Why?
Because most people oppose violence and if the opposition to fascists can be portrayed as a violent movement, this opposition can be shrunken and contained.
Fortunately, except for the fans of this fascist regime, people are fully aware of this tactic and don’t fall for it. We know that millions of good caring nonviolent people are working to dis-empower the regime by reducing support for it.
We are talking with all hired armed enforcers — police, military, and yes even ICE — and urging them to protect the people instead of carrying out the will of the criminal regime which is using them as violent enforcers of totalitarianism.
Every day, we are weakening the regime. Every exposure of new brutality brings this nightmare one step closer to the end.
Let’s keep up the good work. We will add new tactics to the protest. We will have strikes and boycotts. We will refuse to go to jobs that support the fascists. We will refuse to pay taxes. We will not listen to propaganda arms of the regime. We will talk with each other, strengthen our bonds in our communities.
We will have a broad coalition of anti-fascists and unlike the fragmented opposition to Franco, our coalition will hold because we share one huge overarching goal — to bring an end to the current cruel regime ASAP — and forever.
This is the big step we are taking now. Afterwards, we will work out the details for building a better approach to the future, one that cares for people and our seriously damaged biosphere.
We are on the right track. We must stick it out to victory.
Through crime and crusade
Our labor, it’s been stolen
We’ve been robbed of our freedom
We’ve been held down and beholden
Who’ll stand with us?
Don’t tell us everything is fine
Who’ll stand with us?
Because this treatment is a crime
The working people fuel the engine
While you yank the chain
We fight the wars and build buildings
For someone else’s gains
So tell me
Who will stand with us?
So tell me
Who will stand with us?
