The Saners are national and international already. Now we are going local!
As the unique movement using nonviolent noncooperation to prevent climate collapse and build a better civilization worldwide, The Saners is now learning to focus and think small.
Our first meeting will be held on Saturday morning, November 23rd at 11am in Cianfrani Park. This (initially) small local meeting will be an opportunity for neighbors to meet, discuss community issues and how we can look after one another—while also dealing with planet-wide crises like climate collapse and the dangerous rise of fascism.
Although we will be facing—and ultimately, DEFEATING—these crises, this will be a friendly and cheerful gathering. Because, in addition to facing and effectively addressing our problems, The Saners are committed to living fully now, today and every day.
This first meeting is happening on short notice and may not have much attendance. But whether the first meeting is big or small, we are The Saners, and we intend to grow and succeed and we NEVER give up!
