After THIS upcoming collapse of the shithole civilization, nobody will rescue the plutocrats.
In 2008–9, after the ultra-wealthy crashed the economy, we bailed them out. We gave them trillions of dollars with no strings attached. The big shots even got their bonuses.
They’ll tell you that they paid back the money, that it was a loan, and that Uncle Sam (and taxpayers) got back every dime—with interest. They are, of course, liars as well as swindlers.
But we are onto them. We are done with them. We see what’s coming. We see that a Depression is coming, that this collapse is consciously engineered. We see that plutocrats, who already own almost everything, want the rest. And they want it for pennies on the dollar.
For them, the coming Depression is a good thing.
Only this time will be different. We are supposed to be afraid, and demoralized and ready to do what we are told—to rebuild everything for our masters, and hope that we are repaid in crumbs.
Not gonna happen.
We are organizing to shut down everything, to END this shithole civilization of greed and cruelty and brutality and violence and hatred and bigotry. We will NOT rebuild it. We will NOT pay bonuses to those who did this to us.
First, we will have a general strike. But our terms—complete and utter surrender of the ruling class and dismantling the systems of oppression—won’t be met.
So we won’t return to work. Ever. Why should we? What is our work?
Our work is a senseless waste of our lives in air conditioned boxes, producing crap to enrich an undeserving few. We do this, and we try to get some enjoyment when we get home. But we are tired, and we rest up so we can serve our masters the next day.
We do this for decades, and then—having never lived—we die.
That’s stupid. That’s insane. We are promised more money and more and better stuff. And we do, sometimes, get shiny new gadgets and elaborate entertainment to distract us from our exploitation and dull the pain.
But it’s not working the way it once did.
Today—NOW—Sign Up For The General Strike
We will need to execute a variety of tactics, various kinds of nonviolent noncooperation, to change the world fundamentally. We will do this.
But the most valuable tactic, one that will speed up events in our favor, will be the planned General Strike, if we succeed in pulling it off.
It’s doable. But it requires some effort. Which is ironic because what we are calling for is a coordinated INaction.
Please just do this: Sign a Strike Card, a commitment to support the General Strike in whatever way you can. We are approaching 300,000 committed strikers, and we need to reach 11 million.
Sign up right this minute. I’ll wait. Go to https://generalstrikeus.com/strikecard and fill out the form. I know that it requires a phone number. Maybe you don’t want to give that, but I did, and I think we need to stick out our necks just a little bit in this great cause.
Please do this!
What’s Ahead? What’s the Reward?
We aren’t getting rid of this shithole civilization to install new bosses. We don’t want bosses and we don’t care for -isms.
Our new civilization will be based on good values. We will care for each other and for our planet. We will value life and time and Nature and the miracle of consciousness. We understand that art, and companionship, and being in Nature, and daydreaming, and storytelling and self-expression—that THESE all produce meaning. We understand that business and profits and work as we have known it is valueless, actually destructive.
Because by not working in the old way, not producing mountains of crap to create profit for undeserving a-holes, we give our Earth a chance to heal. We slash production and defilement of the biosphere by 80%-90%.
We will, of course, still produce stuff. But only what we need and never for a profit. We will produce food and medicine and shelter and share with each other. Because we aren’t savages. We care about each other.
This production, a sharp decline from the volume of work we do today, will be done voluntarily, together, and in a spirit of camaraderie—without stern overseers judging and threatening us. And, unlike what we experienced before, we will have the TIME and ENERGY to LIVE.
That’s the goal. That’s the win-win-win proposition. Knowing our objectives, knowing what we seek, we vaccinate ourselves against emerging new bosses who will seek to replace the old ones. We immunize ourselves.
