The Powerful Are Putty In Our Hands

Wear the Green Dot. Let’s grow and show ourselves.
That’s how the change begins.

They are psychologically and physically weak and their one workable trick is about to fail.

The powerful people are worried about us, about the thinking and caring people of Earth. They are worried - but not very worried - that we will discover they are weak toothless frauds.

They are so clueless that they can’t see the biggest threat that they face (or more accurately, refuse to face): their own clueless stupidity.

They pay “experts” to tell them pretty lies and then believe those lies. That climate collapse is survivable - at least for the wealthy. That they attained their privileged positions through intelligence, ability, and hard work.

We are talking about people who live in a fantasy world of their own creation, as out of touch as the weirdest qAnon believer. They think they can outsmart Natural Law.

Really, they have no chance against the wrath of Nature that they’ve unleashed, the hell on Earth that they keep feeding.

Their only hope— and it looks like a dim hope right now — is that WE roundly defeat them and stabilize our permanently damaged planet.

They need us to rescue the planet that everyone’s children will inherit without taking (justifiable) revenge against them.

They must pray for the complete success of The Saners.

No Enemies, Only Love

We-ordinary people, the people who number in the billions, the people who have been condemned to servitude of the elites-have been laboring under an illusion. The illusion is that we are powerless, that we must go by the rules that entrap us, that this is how it’s always been and always will be.

That power exists only with that illusion. Puncture the illusion, the lie, and we can change the world, end the insanity, and begin a new age of a humane civilization and a saved (albeit sadly damaged) Earth.

The Saners—with your help—will do just that.

The movement is, in effect, being run based on the model of successful movements of the past. At this stage, we need two things: visibility (mostly to each other, but also to the world) to recruit more Saners, and the bold spreading of our messages and our intentions.

Right now, most of the world is either in denial or despair. No credible vision of hope is out there-people are wishing that leaders would actually do something helpful and decisive. But it never happens and a dark cloud hangs over our civilization.

The Saners offer that desperately needed vision. But it’s more than a vision—it’s the only credible plan out there for survival and the actual flourishing of human life.

We are the ones who can and will fix things. We understand that scientists have been telling us what needs to be done for many, many decades and our leaders (operating within astoundingly stupid systems) have failed catastrophically.

WE WILL NOT FAIL.

Listening, Acting, Caring

Leaders worldwide-and not only capitalists, but all leaders of industrialized, wealthy countries-are losers who are ruining everything with their painfully unenlightened self-interest. They have ignored the science and the warnings by scientists. They have operated under the utter ridiculous notion that they can defy reality itself.

WE aren’t that stupid. WE will slash CO2 emissions quickly-while improving the quality of life for everyone. The idea that more stuff, that productivity is the only way is simply false. People don’t need more stuff; they just need enough. They need clean water and healthy food, and medicine, and shelter-and they don’t need shiny toys and luxuries.

WE understand the costs of those useless luxuries and other baubles. WE understand that those unnecessary baubles cost us nearly our entire lives. They require us to work for decades, often until death, for undeserving elites.

WE understand that this is a ridiculous way to waste our short precious lives. We won’t do it and we won’t allow our children to be caught in that foolish trap.
This situation is insane. We won’t cooperate. We won’t do what’s expected or demanded of us. We will protect our children and their planet.

We are Saners.

Now and Beyond

Ultimately, we will take control, end overproduction, and fix what ails us by harnessing the (proven) strategy of nonviolent noncooperation.

But first we build our numbers and spread our vision.

Starting now, wear the Green Dot. It’s a symbol of our movement, and a vision of a healthy Earth. Get a whole package of these green dot stickers at a stationery store. Put them on your clothing each day.

People will ask about the Green Dot. (Or if they don’t, YOU can bring it up.) Tell them that we have a movement and a vision to get us out of the current crises. That leaders everywhere have failed but that WE (that is, ordinary people) will succeed. Tell them to read about The Saners at WeAreSaners.org. Hand them a flyer or brochure that you’ve downloaded and printed out.

Or some other Saners materials. (More will become available.)

Tell them to JOIN the Saners at WeAreSaners.org/join. This is the opportunity to escape despair and be in the vanguard of the solution.

Tell them that this is the most scientific group, the most in accord with unbelievers-we listen to and act in accordance with the science. Tell Christians that this is the group that embodies genuine Christian values of loving one another and loving our enemies.

Tell them that to follow or support policies, leaders and systems that abuse our home planet is literally insane. Tell them YOU won’t do that and that THEY shouldn’t do it either.
