The protesters don’t kill but disgruntled servants — worried about abuse, impoverishment and brutality— could shorten lives.

The American people are rising up and we will end tyranny in the 21st century just as we did in the 18th. This time, we will do it with nonviolent noncooperation.

Peacefully, we will oust dictatorship and reclaim our inalienable rights.

We pose no physical threat whatsoever to the people who hold and abuse power. But that doesn’t mean they are safe.

It would be wise for them to NOT wait for us to remove them from their unearned offices, and to voluntarily relinquish their illegitimate powers. Because although The People’s movement is a peaceful one, others have a different approach.

Some heavily armed Americans are fearful and angry and want revenge. Many of these people are right-wingers who feel betrayed.

We’ve seen how they can behave on January 6, 2021. They want blood. They are ready to gun down plutocrats. We are not with them. We abhor violence and consider it an abomination. But we cannot control those people, or protect our foolish (temporary) rulers from them.

Our movement’s members—both secular and religious—consider human life and human dignity to be sacred. Many of us are, in fact, angry and justifiably so. But our movement is grounded in love and will behave accordingly.

There are others, however, not dedicated to nonviolence and not motivated by love.

No Safe Places For Tyrants and Thieves

Just as the Capitol—with all its security forces—was not safe for our Congress on that January day, there is no safe haven for those who have earned the wrath of the people.

Everyone around them, who they hired, who they depend on, who they trust, could be harboring a lust for revenge. This danger grows with every new abuse. Every act of brutality, every act of cruelty, every threat, every theft and deprivation by the ruling class poses a threat to the ruling class.

A personal, physical threat.

We want no violence and we want no revenge. We want a just and kind civilization and we invite even our oppressors to open their eyes, step down from their putrid golden thrones, and join us.

Life, and the future, and the future of your children looks much better from here. And you will be able to sleep at night.
